Locked and Loaded
Despite a turnout that was less than expected by most the team members, Risen Gaming is very pround of where both of its
teams have gotten during MW3 Season One. Team Malevolence had a rocky start due to rapid changes in the roster during the first
half of the season. Team Depravity took losses towards the end of the season due to unfortunate roster changes involving
jobs, school and family matters. Nevertheless both teams came out with records that put them towards the middle
of the brackets and both teams also had impressive wins against some of the strongest teams in the league. "We weren't aiming
for the championship this season" says founder Bryan Lundberg, "We were taking ample time to get our starting lineups where they
needed to be and focusing on communication, team chemistry and playing with a respect unmatched by any other team out there."
With a strong set of players, the teams seek to buckle down and prepare for a strong start to Season Two utilizing
new players, adjusted strats and an overall higher confidence level. Team Malevolence has also proved to be "top ten"
material by snagging the 8th rung in the hardcore ladder and the 5th rung in barebones. Risen Gaming is very excited to see
what lies ahead as they continue to tear into the competition.

On the Road Again
After having great success in the MW3 kickoff tournaments at TWL and PSGL, the teams took some time to
re-organize and prepare for regular season play. Following a two week break for the holiday season, Risen
Gaming became highly active in scrims, tryouts and team discussion in order to set up more appropriate
rosters that would better fit the needs of the players. Several weeks of discussion went by before finally
settling on the right path for the teams. As of late January as the TWL League season started up, Team
Malevolence continues to be headed up by founder Bryan Lundberg with captains Mike DeHarak and Austin
Dorzok. Team Depravity is now lead by Zach Brown with captains Colin Peters and Tim Thornton. "These
teams are solid and will continue to improve throughout season one" says Lundberg, "Once we've created
that seasoned chemistry between our players, we will accquire a championship vision for season two." Both
teams are currently at a 1-1 combined record for hardcore and barebones leagues.

Changing the Game
As if things weren't happening fast enough around here, Modern Warfare 3 completely changed the motion
of this team. Or should we say these teams? In addition to a full move of the team to the new
Call of Duty title, a rapid increase in the size of the team created a need for more ways for the members
to play TWL. The solution was to create a second team for Risen Gaming. Unlike a typical split where a
team divides its members in half, the new faction of Risen players is comprised of entirely new members.
The most impressive part about this second team is that it's meant for barebones players. Yes, we have
signed on over ten new players, all seeking to represent Risen Gaming in barebones search and destroy.
With this being said, Risen Gaming founder Bryan "theory" Lundberg would like to formally introduce to
you: Risen Gaming: Team Malevolence and Risen Gaming: Team Depravity. Get stoked.

Half The Fun Is Getting Kjaer
That's right. The team has now picked up Daniel "washu" Simpson from Team NASTy making the recent addition of
Jonathan Kjaer just half of a destructive equasion in Risen Gaming's recent success. Currently 1-1 in Season
Three, the team is going through a total struggle-fest just trying to sort out its talent. With Nelson, Kjaer
and Simpson all on the roster and the sudden rise of Craig Wolf as a starting player, every match is another
shuffle of the team's players. "Right now we've got a lot of new talent and we're just trying to figure out
which five pieces best fit the puzzle that is Risen's starting lineup" says team founder Bryan Lundberg. The
team will continue to change its formula for success through the remainder of Season Three until a team with
a championship vision is reborn.

Three Plus Two Makes Ideal Situation
Risen Gaming is very proud to announce the return of two former starters: Alex "merrixx3" Nelson and Jonathan
"kjaer" Kjaer to the starting roster. With a few more scrims and a pre-season match against Viscous on the
Trigger, the team will be ready for a strong Season Three at TWL. "Having merrixx3 and kjaer come back to our
roster in time for season three was just what we needed", says team founder and captain Bryan Lundberg. This
week's pre-season match will most likely feature Risen's other new talent Greg "faulty" Ginavan but Kjaer
will be ready for Week One. The team has brought on several new members to build up the community that
surrounds this solid starting lineup. Risen Gaming will be playing this final season on Black Ops and then
move straight to the highly anticipated Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3.

Long Time, No See
It's safe to say that team founder Bryan Lundberg is fully responsible for the lack of updates to
the website. A lot has happened at Risen Gaming over the past few months mainly involving changes to the
team's roster. We are currently represented by one active TWL team playing on both the ladder and league
for hardcore search and destory. The team is captained by Lundberg along with starters Tyler Roberts and
Patrick Smiley. Additional starters include Ness Paņora and James Shorey. The team's secondary is still
comprised mainly of long-term players but has also welcomed a few new faces as well. Risen Gaming is
looking forward to a third season on Black Ops as well as a fresh start with Infinity Ward's new title:
Modern Warfare 3. Don't take your eyes off Risen Gaming or you might miss all the action coming up this
fall.

The Race Is On
After suffering their first loss in season one, Risen Gaming regained their composure with week five and six
wins against Xpert Warriors and RX Gaming. The team is now in three-way tie with Underestimated Gamerz and
Game0ver Quebec. "It's anybody's game now. As long as we keep bringing the heat to these teams, we'll do just
fine" says team captain and founder Bryan Lundberg. In other news: Risen Gaming has formed a second competitive
team for Black Ops. The team will be captained by Risen members Rico Moore and Greg Spivey. The orgainization
also looks to bring on a group of Call of Duty 4 players for a ProMod team. More details on the CoD4 Promod team
will be released when the plans are set in stone.

They Said Game Over, We said Game On!
This past week, the boys at Risen Gaming pulled off their third and biggest upset in TWL SD Season 1.
In a neck and neck battle against the highly favored Game0ver Quebec, Team Risen won the week three match
13-11. Thanks to clutch plays by Mike Hejza and Mikhail Lee as well as an outstanding performance by Chad
Jenkins, the team was able to defend their undefeated reign over their division. After a night of
celebration, team captain and starter Tyler Roberts asked "Did we beat Game0ver last night or was I
dreaming?" Risen Gaming will face off with the only other undefeated team in the division,
Underestimated Gamerz, this Tuesday.
Raising the Bar
Competitive gaming is where it's at for Black Ops and that's exactly what we've been doing every day here at
Risen Gaming. We're scrimming almost every night and we have a bunch of match results streaming in. After
suffering a loss to Team Seven, the team managed to pull off a win agains Shadow Company Elite to bring us to
rung 53 for Search and Destroy. We're already falling in at rung 26 for Capture the Flag with a 2-1 record
and we're just getting started. Most importantly, our first league results are in after Risen Gaming took on
the highly favored Xtreme Soldiers for pre-season week one. After pulling off an unexpected 13-10 win, the
team goes to 1-0 and will take on Tactical Recon Force in week two.
Getting the Ball Rolling
Risen gaming is off to a great start everbody! We're only three weeks in the making and already have a
solid roster of ten experienced players. Our server is running great. We've already had the chance
to destroy a couple teams in it while playing a scrim. Our TWL team is ready to go on the Hardcore 5v5
Search and Destroy and Capture the Flag Ladders. We'll be playing our first competitive matches within
the next week or so. Good job on a successful start for this team guys! Let's keep bringing in new
members and expanding this team into a powerhouse.
